At Shepherds Creek Alpacas we have spent 20 years honing our breeding program while educating ourselves on all aspects of alpaca care and breeding. We now have some of the highest quality alpacas in the country, including our herdsire, Apollo, who was the 2nd place high point male in the U.S. in 2022! ABOUT US & OUR FARM:
People ALWAYS ask us…"How did you ever get into this?". An educator (Barb) and a physician (Marc), we stumbled on these delightful animals in 2003, fell in love, and began a life journey that was both unforeseen and wonderful! We are both retired now and keep a herd of 12 to 20 alpacas, including high quality show winners and pets and "retired" breeding stock.
