Rafael is a beautiful, well-grown, yearling bay black male with lovely dense, fine, uniform fleece. He is the maternal brother to our 23 X Champion, StrongShepherd Apollo by Koolassal, and his sire is Zintars by Zagato, our excellent dark brown Zagato son, recently purchased by Twilight Alpacas for their breeding program.
We were excited about joining the Zagato line with our champion-producing Dorian daughter, and it was a win! Rafael has held his own in the show ring as a juvie and yearling, winning 6 Blue ribbons and a Color Championship! Although only a yearling, Rafael is showing lots of interest in the girls, so we expect him to be ready to breed this spring.
